Here are some ideas of things you may do as part of self-care, they are just suggesstions:
- Exercise
- Read a book
- Cook or bake
- Socialise
- Tidy up or clean
- Set boundaries with a friend or colleague
- Do a puzzle
- Get an early night
- Taking the night off
- Watch a movie
There are plenty more things you can try for self-care but remember it is personal, so try not to compare with other people. When self-care feels harder, try to make sure you are still meeting your basic needs, like eating, drinking and sleeping, and be kind to yourself.
